Where are you located?

Prisze Beauty is located in Vaughan, Ontario (just 3 minutes away from Vaughan Mills). Our address is 8750 Jane Street Unit 20.

Deposits

All appointments require a deposit. Deposits are made through our scheduling system or through e-transfers. This is to to secure your appointment date and time. Deposits are deducted from the total cost of your service. Please note* all deposits made are non-refundable. Please speak with a representative if you are unable to attend an appointment. We are able to place deposits on hold for future bookings. Clients must inform a representative at least 24 hours before appointment date to avoid any penalty.

Cancellations & Reschedules

  • NO SHOW: Any no show appointment without phone call or notice 24 hours before are subject to a full payment transaction. No exceptions can be made after the 30 minutes mark.
  • CANCELLATIONS: All deposits are non-refundable. We are able to put deposits on hold for future rebooking. Please cancel 24 hours before your appointment.
  • LATE: Please contact us if you are running late. We offer a 5-15 minute grace period. 20+ minutes late are subject to cancellation.
  • RESCHEDULES: A representative can help you reschedule an appointment if needed. Please reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment date.
  • INCLEMENT WEATHER: All appointments will be moved to the next available date if weather restricts. You will be notified as soon as possible regarding a reschedule. No penalties will apply.
  • LASER HAIR REMOVAL POLICY: Come fully shaved to your appointment (we will not shave you and will send you home if not pre-shaved or if the area is missed) - package treatment will be forfeited.
  • NO REFUNDS for any services or product purchases. All payments for services, packages, and products are final sale. No exceptions can be made.

Consent Forms

All clients must fill the appropriate consent form regarding their appointment. Failure to complete and sign the consent form will result in a cancellation. Deposits are non refundable. Please speak to a representative if you have questions about our forms.

What do I need to know about each service before booking?

Eyelash Extensions

Clients with eyelash extensions must avoid the following:

  • Getting the extensions wet after the first 24 hours
  • Any exposure to excessive heat and steam
  • Sleeping on your face and touching your eyes
  • Oil base products on the face and eyes (Avoid for better retention)
  • Airbrush tanning
  • Mascara, water proof mascara and eyeliner (Eyeshadow is not recommended)
  • Chemical peels and facials on your eyes
  • Intense or constant pulling on the extensions (Avoid rubbing the eyes)

Please note* clients who have received lash lifts must wait for lashes to be fully grown out. Receiving extensions after a lash lift may affect the retention.

Ask a technician if you are qualified for eyelash extensions. Sparse, thin, or minimal lashes are recommended to avoid extensions.

Eyelash Extensions - Refills & Touchups

At Prisze Beauty, we have a policy to follow when scheduling a lash fill. Please read the following to determine which fill you need.

Foreign Fill: A foreign fill is a refill of any non-Prisze Beauty technician’s work. Refills will only be taken if 40%+ of your lashes remain AND your lashes are in healthy condition.

Mini Touchup Refill: This fill is booked from 1 week of your last lash appointment.

Touchup: This fill is booked within 2 weeks of your lash lash appointment.

Refill: This fill is booked within 3 weeks of your last lash appointment.

Full Set: Any fill booked 4+ weeks from your last lash appointment will be considered a full set.

Brows - Lamination, Tint, Shaping, Waxing, & Threading

Please stop use of products with strong cosmeceutical ingredients, like retinoids or vitamin C, in the area in the five days prior and 5 days following the procedure. No waxing or threading on the brows or near the brows for a minimum of 5 days prior.

Contraindications

  • Avoid trimming, waxing, threading and tweezing for at least a week before your appointment
  • Avoid products with anti-aging properties, acid base skincare, AHA, BHA, and exfoliants for at least a week before your appointment.
  • Avoid any facial service such as micro needling, chemical peels or anything that includes exfoliation for at least 4 weeks.
  • If you have sunburnt brows, make sure brows are fully healed before coming in for an appointment.
  • Eczema, psoriasis near the treatment area.
  • Face laser, fillers, or botox.
  • Alopecia, scars, wounds in the treatment area.
  • Retinoids, accutane, antibiotics or any blood thinning medication.
  • Recent permanent makeup. Wait for 4-6 weeks until booking.
  • Positive reaction to a brow patch test.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding.

Let a representative know if there are any allergies. If there are any other concerns or questions, please ask a representative and technician.

Skin Care - Facials

  • Clients must stop RETINOL for minimum of 1 week before appointment
  • Clients must stop laser on the face, neck, and shoulders for minimum of 2 weeks before appointment
  • WAXING - Please wait at least 5 days after facial waxing to receive a facial
  • ACCUTANE - We do not accept clients who are on accutane. Clients must wait a minimum of 6 months after the completion of accutane to book a facial.

It is important for your aesthetician to be aware if you are utilizing retinol (or any products that may contain retinol), as it is Ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy (AHA), beta hydroxy (BHA), or benzoyl peroxide that can sensitize skin since they've exfoliated the outermost layer. Most facial reactions come as a result of this issue. If you're unsure of the ingredients in your go-to skin-care products, stay on the safe side and use gentle products for at least 1 week leading up to your facial. (Avoid exfoliating your skin for a minimum of 5 days before your facial appointment)

Skin Care - Chemical Peels

Chemical Peel Contraindications: Accutane | Cancer Treatments including Chemotherapy & Radiation | Cancer/Skin Cancer History within the past 2 years | Open Sores & Wounds | Sunburn or Blisters | Excessive Sun Exposure or Those Unwilling to Wear SPF | Active Cold Sores | Some Autoimmune Diseases | Recent Facial Surgical Procedures

Chemical Peel Precautions: Retin-A – must discontinue use for 7 days prior to treatment | Non-Prescription Retinol & AHAs – discontinue use 3-5 days prior to the treatment | No Cosmetic Injections (including Botox & Fillers) within the last 14 days or wait 14 days Post Chemical Peel

Post-Chemical Peel Guidelines (Very Superficial & Superficial Peels):

  • Avoid active ingredients for 3-5 days post-treatment or if present, until peeling or flaking until completed
  • Avoid all sun exposure or as minimal as possible
  • Avoid exercise or sweating for a minimum of 24-72 hours
  • Avoid applying makeup for 24-72 hours and wash makeup brushes before next use
  • Always wash hands before completing routine
  • Avoid touching the skin

Skin Care - Duo Facials

What is a duo facial? A duo facial consist of two clients receiving treatment simultaneously. The space consists of two adjoining rooms. This service is great for family, friends, and partners. Clients can selected any facial option from our list when selecting the duo option.

How do I book a duo facial appointment? You must reach a representative or technician to check availability for a duo facial. Please contact our phone number, email or instagram.

Laser Hair Removal - All Areas

Before your appointment date, there are a list of instructions that your technician will advise you to follow.

  • It is required for a clients to shave 12-24 hours prior to the appointment date. DO NOT PLUCK, THREAD, WAX, OR BLEACH TREATMENT AREAS. If you are not pre-shaved or the area is missed, we will send you home and your treatment will be forfeited.
  • Arrive with clean skin, no makeup, cream/lotions, deodorant, or perfume on the treatment area.
  • No direct sunlight for 7 to 14 days before appointment date. This also includes tanning beds or self tanners. Direct sunlight can lead to discolouration, sun burn, or excessive pain/blistering after laser appointment.
  • Check your medications and inform them to your technician. Some medications can intervene with your laser hair removal treatment or make it less effective. Be sure to list all the medications that you are currently taking. Clients who are taking photosensitive medications should avoid common UVA light sources, scubas direct sunlight, tanning beds, and laser. Accutane should be avoided for one year before the laser hair removal appointment. Retinol should be avoided for two weeks before and after appointment date.

Permanent Makeup - Brows & Lips

Before booking your permanent makeup service, it is important to know the following guidelines.

LIP BLUSH

• Scabbing is normal during the first week; Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away

• Avoid direct water contact and oily/spicy foods for 1 week

• Drink through a straw and avoid kissing until lips have finished scabbing (~1 week)

• Avoid fillers and makeup on the lips for 2 weeks

• Avoid direct sunlight and tanning for 3 weeks

• Colour may take 4-6 weeks to fully develop

BROWS

• Scabbing is normal during the first week; Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away

• Avoid direct water contact and excessive sweating (ex. gym, sauna) for 1 week

• Avoid skincare with active ingredients and makeup on the brows for 2 weeks

• Avoid direct sunlight and tanning for 3 weeks

• No facials, botox, chemical treatments or lasers for 4 weeks

• Colour may take 4-6 weeks to fully develop

It is recommended to avoid makeup particularly on the area treated for the first two weeks after getting the procedure done to give it time to properly heal.
